We love our interns! Interns are an indispensable part of the work performed by the MPFC to bring equality for all military families.
Our internship program provides the opportunity to gain experience in military, veteran, family, and gay and lesbian issues. We strive to provide our interns with job-related skills, coalition building with other national organizations, and opportunities to network with leaders in state and federal politics.
We seek interns from all backgrounds. We require someone with strong oral and written communications skills, knowledge of military and gay/lesbian issues is preferred. We encourage all academic majors to apply.
If interested, please send a cover letter, resume, and a 300-500 word essay explaining the applicants commitment to public service to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Meet our past and present MPFC Circle of Interns.
Besides enjoying working with a great team of people and getting the great feeling of supporting military families, our past interns have found that skills learned at MPFC have helped advance their career. We are very proud of them!!
